How to get loan

With all of the economic problems that have been going on in the last couple of years, the number of people who are having their cars repossessed by banks or seized by state and federal government agencies, like the IRS, is on the rise. This means that there are also more seized car auctions happening all the time and attending used car auctions is becoming more commonplace and is increasingly becoming a good way for people to save money when they need to get another car.

When people get behind on their car payments, it is common for the lending institution to take back the vehicle, especially if there is no way for the person to get caught up on missed loan payments. The result is that the larger banks, credit unions and finance companies are often overflowing with repossessed cars and seized cars that they need to sell through a seized car auction.

A variety of different government agencies, from the local level to the federal level, have the authority to seize vehicles and place them in seized car auctions. These seizures occur when someone owes a lot of money to the IRS, or when the vehicle was involved in a crime, or when it was bought illegally with drug money.

When lending institutions, banks, police departments, and various federal agencies end up with a growing number of cars that have been seized or repossessed, they ultimately spend a lot of money to store these vehicles. In most cases, the people from whom the cars were seized have either no recourse at all for getting the vehicle back or a short window of opportunity to get the vehicle back before the agency has the right to sell it off. If there is no longer any chance of the person being able to reclaim the vehicle, then it can be sold through a seized car auction, which the agencies prefer to do as soon as possible to minimize their storage expenses.

In many cases, a seized car auction can be a bargain hunters dream, enabling them to save hundreds, or even thousands of dollars, on a wide variety of cars, truck, vans, recreational vehicles, and even boats and other recreational sports vehicles. These seized, motor car auctions provide people with terrific opportunities to get a better quality vehicle than they might otherwise have been able to afford. For those who are really lucky, they could be driving away with their dream car after only paying one quarter to one half of the amount that they might have paid, had they gone to a regular dealership.

Before attending seized car auctions you need to be sure to do some homework first. If you have a particular model in mind, then do some research to find out what the fair market value is. It is a good idea not to start bidding at the first used car auction you attend, but instead, watch the proceedings so that you can get a feel for the general buying environment and gain an understanding of how the entire car auto auction process works.

What is an Electric Bus?

June 23rd, 2008

Electric buses have actually been around for a long, long time. Trolley cars, which are electric buses powered by two overhead electric wires and either run on tracks or tires, were one of the most popular forms of transportation back in the late 19th and earl 20th centuries, and have been in existence since 1882.

There are still a number of trolley car systems left in the United States, most in large cities such as Boston, Seattle and Philadelphia while others sites use them as tourist attractions. Granted, the number of trolleys aren’t anything like they used to be, but they are still useful and still more environmentally sound that those diesel-spewing buses many of us have been caught behind at some time.

The other kind of electric bus, called a stored electricity bus, can be divided into two types: battery and gyro. These electric buses are the most common electric buses today as the price of gas and diesel increase and more communities are looking to go ‘green’.

Gyro buses use flywheel energy storage for generating and using electric power. However, they are not currently being operated commercially. Indeed, they were last used in Europe in the 1950s because while gyro buses were pollution-free and quiet, like other electric buses, they had noticeable operating problems because of the size and weight of the flywheel itself. Heck, sometimes turning a gyro bus was a problem because of the motion of the flywheel!

Battery-operated buses, on the other hand, use rechargeable battery packs and electric motors and motor controllers, similar to electric cars, forklifts, golf carts…even electric wheel chairs.

The benefits of electric buses vs. diesel buses, besides avoiding the smell when driving behind them, include environmental benefits, of course, including reduced particulate, CO, CO2 and NOX emissions, even when taking into consideration emissions from electricity-generating plants.

While there are not a huge number of communities using electric buses yet, the number is growing as the costs of petroleum-based fuels rises and the demand for cleaner transportation increases. In addition, since most buses run on fixed routes, it’s easy to determine the cost-effectiveness of electric buses vs. diesel even with the currently higher purchase price of an electric bus.

HHO gas car conversions have been seen in the news. Why are these conversions gaining in popularity? It is because they are increasing gas mileage by 20-50%. Some are seeing these vehicles as a water hybrid car by supplementing HHO gas with you gasoline or diesel fuel you could save money at the pump.

HHO gas kits do not come cheap. Even ones found on popular auction sites sell for hundreds of dollars. If you have a few vehicles you would like to convert this could add up.

How this gas works is that it is generated in a cell full of water and a catalyst such as backing soda is contained in that cell alone with a few or many plates usually stainless steel that is similar to a battery. The designs can vary. The cell is hooked to your cars battery to help with the process of electrolysis to generate a gas. The gas is introduced into the intake manifold of your car or truck using the assistance of your vehicles vacuum. By using this gas it should in increase the efficiency of your engine thus resulting in better gas mileage. Larger engines may require 2-6 cells but that is not usually an issue a typical cell is about the size of a quart jar.

You may have seen reference to these HHO gas cells online or in forums as hydrogen on demand or even hydrogen cell. This is not exactly pure hydrogen it produces but the effect is similar.

The parts to build a homemade HHO gas conversion can easily be found around town. A really savvy shopper can build a cell for around $60 and anyone who uses their hands or likes to build stuff should have not problem constructing a homemade conversion kit. When the conversion is made to the motor very little modification is needed to the vehicle.

HHO gas technology is still considered experimental but it is a supplemental fuel additive of sorts that could help you increase mileage, increase horsepower, reduce emissions while providing a quieter and cleaner engine. So why not convert your car to burn water?

I am saving a LOT of money on gas…

Up until two months ago I was so fed up with only getting 2.4 gallons of gas for $10! I remember in 2000 I could get almost 10 gallons for the same $10 bucks. I’ve heard stories about converting a car to burn water instead of gas and I just thought it wasn’t possible. I was wrong. I did my research online and I came across a web page that teaches you how to actually convert your car to burn water AND gas, resulting in monumental savings. Up to 59% more gas efficient to be exact!

I did it myself!

All you need is a little device that separates water into a gas, called HHO. 2 Hydrogen molecules and 1 Oxygen molecule. Also called hydroxy. The great thing about hydroxy is that it burns beautifully and it provides A LOT of energy. Yet, in the end it is just water!
It’s kind of like you are making a “water hybrid” out of your car. You could use this system to switch nearly any vehicle into a trial, fully functional water hybrid in one slow day, with the aid of simple tools at home.

I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in:

A. Saving money

B. Protecting the environment from pollution and global climate change

C. Not giving as much profit to the big oil companies

D. Making money (by converting other peoples cars to burn HHO and getting paid big bucks to do it!)

E. Improving their gas efficiency up to 59%

I haven’t been happier since I converted my Cadillac to burn water and gas….I can put that hard earned money towards other important things.

I wish you the best of luck,

Ron

If you are interested in converting your car to burn water + gas and saving a ton of money you should visit this website: Water 4 Gas

It’s on everyone’s minds these days. Gas going up 10 cents every week. Everyone is cutting spending, walking, and selling their SUVs just to make ends meet and stay afloat financially. People that once snickered at people using mopeds to get to work, are now actually considering it as an option.

Fingers are being pointed everywhere: OPEC, Iraq, Congress, commodity brokers, and even gas station owners. Car manufacturers are even dropping their truck divisions, focusing on smaller cars. I just heard of a large dealership that sold 1 truck in the past month, and getting worse.

As alternatives abound, one solution I don’t hear a lot about is the propane option. Most everyone has heard of a propane-powered car. A lot of state governments use them in their fleet, but it has rarely gotten the attention of the general public. I just drove by my local gas station, and the price doesn’t seem to be much different from normal gas, but that’s just at the gas station. If you go to the ’special’ public stations, prices are much cheaper. If you are one of the lucky ones in Utah, propane can be as cheap as 63 cents a gallon. Uhm, yes, that is correct - 63 cents. So if you needed to fill up your 20 gallon SUV, that’s a total of $12.60 - compared to $80 normally. That’s a significant savings!

So you are saying, “What’s the catch?” Well, there are always some. First you either need to buy a vehicle that runs on propane, or you can convert one. I’ve read many articles around where people are paying $6,000-$10,000 for a conversion. For most people, that’s ridiculous. You might as well buy a new car, or wait 8 years before you’ll recoup your cost. I wholeheartedly agree. .. . . BUT . . .there is an alternative to that.

A different type of propane called CNG (compressed natural gas) is a very viable option. A company in Argentina (Galileo) has been specializing in this particular propane conversion technology since 1983, so they’ve worked out all the bugs. They manufacturer kits where you can convert almost any vehicle to CNG. The kits themselves run under $2000, and if you are somewhat mechanically-inclined, you can install it yourself. The kit comes with a set of instructions to complete the conversion from A to Z. A new company has been established that is the only distributer for these kits - CNGOutfitters.com. With exclusive rights for distribution in the USA, they provide kits, instructions, tanks, and installation.

But do not forget to get the correct tank for this kit. Installing an incorrect tank can cause major problems down the road if you are not careful. They have to be DOT stamped and certified. CNGOutfitters provides specifications on where to install the tank on your car, and how it needs to be installed.

There are other options out there. Electric cars are out there, but years from a viable solution. Hydrogen doesn’t solve the problem, since they use as much fossil fuel to produce than it makes. Propane is the best current alternative that already has the infrastructure and technology in place. It has a solid foundation and proven stability which will continue for years to come.
